1955 Porsche Beck 500 Spyder Replica
Factory built in 1991 by Beck Development in Chuck Becks Upland, California facility. After its completion, it was cosmetically transformed to resemble in every detail the most famous 550 Spyder, James Deans Little Bastard. It was then used in the 1996 David Cronenberg movie CRASH starring James Spader and Holly Hunter. In this movie that characters reprise the actor James Deans fatal 1955 accident in his original Little Bastard. Though it is titled as a 1957 VW, THIS IS NO KIT CAR. It boasts a 3 inch twin tube ladder frame that runs the length of the car. The main body and floor pans are riveted and bonded to the frame rails which makes this car extremely rigid. It is only the 62nd Beck ever produced and it bares the factory serial number 00628. Many period correct options have been installed by its owner over the years including GT outside mirrors, leather rear bonnet straps, conversion to original style 5 bolt wheels with front disc brakes. In 2010 the engine was updated by Bergmann to a 2498 CC with period correct Porsche style fan shroud with a cost of $7000. This historic vehicle is well documented and has thick files detailing past work, maintenance and history

1967 Sunbeam Rootes Tiger
Non original 302 ci V-8 that has been modified with programmable Edelbrock electronic fuel injection, Summit competition roller cam and MSD H.E.I. ignition, Hurst competition shifter on Mustang 4 speed transmission, 4 wheel disc brakes, Koni shocks and free flow tubular headers, locked rear axle along with Nitto 450x50 R15 tires mounted on progressive rims that bite to the road. From the research we have done, prior owners statement and the 382000372 VIN number, all indications show this to a 65-66 Tiger 1-A series of 1 of 2706 originally built with 164 hp 260 ci V-8. In its present state this car far exceeds the original version in both power and handling. The body is extremely solid with no rust or collision issues. The wooden dash panel with original padding is in excellent conditions. Seats and door panels are redone in correct style as is folding top. The chrome bumpers and trim appear original. Miles showing are 45,365 and believed correct. A stock 260 ci motor and some original parts can be included if next owner desires. A rare Carroll Shelby creation that is a step up from its hot factory production level. Not for the faint of heart.
